This is what the damage looked like.
Two nasty set of holes in the bodywork...

For a quick fix I used some aluminum tape to cover the holes.

Max Nyman came up with the brilliant idea of covering the holes (after fixing them of course...) with a carbon fibre sheet. It would just look like a stylish CF heat shield.

I've talked to a company that normally does a lot of carbon fibre work for the sailing yacht industry.

The friendly guy I talked to promised to do the work next week. It should take approximately one day but it will be affordable. If he needs to make a mould it might take a bit longer but it is still affordable.

Here's what it would look like.

It will look very nice against the CF rear wing protectors (that Caterham hasn't sent me yet...)
